Energy and Natural Resources

The Dillon Eustace Energy and Natural Resources team advises utilities, operators, financiers and exploration companies in the wind energy, electricity and gas supply and oil and gas exploration areas.

The team has been particularly busy over the last 24 months with a significant number of wind farm financings and acquisitions, including the acquisition of two significant wind farm operations for a leading German wind energy developer. The team has also recently advised both turbine manufacturers and financing banks in the wind energy sector for clients including ECAR Energy, Enercon, Renewable Power Generation, HSH Nordbank and Triodos Bank.

Lead partner Carmel Hynes is a Council Member of the Irish Wind Energy Association and the chairman of their Planning Group and works closely with Corporate Partners Adrian Benson and with Banking partner Conor Keaveny in the energy and natural resources area.
