PROFILE:  Sean joined Dillon Eustace in 2004 and became a partner in 2007.  Sean previously worked as a tax manager in the financial services department of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has advised on various aspects of financial services from a tax perspective including investment management, structured finance, real estate, banking, leasing and private equity. He is a member of the tax committees of both the Irish Funds Industry Association and the Irish Securitization Forum.

REPRESENTATIVE ACTIONS: 

• Advises on numerous investment fund set-ups including Common Contractual Funds, Real Estate Funds and Master/Feeder Fund structures.
• Advises on onshore/offshore fund reconstruction and amalgamations as well as restructuring advice in relation to an array of the investment fund service providers.
• Advises Swiss Re on its ALPS II securitisation of future profits from a portfolio of US life insurance policies.
• Acting as Irish tax adviser on a number of European real estate development structures including in Bulgaria, Poland, Finland and Germany.
