PROFILE: Kieran advises on general commercial and insurance related matters and has conducted litigation on behalf of national and international corporations, banks and financial institutions. In his commercial practice Kieran advises on all areas of commercial and financial litigation. In his insurance practice he acts for international and national insurers on coverage and liability issues in the Irish Courts. While advising many insurers, Kieran has a strong reputation for his aviation and product liability work.

Advises trustees, custodians and administrators on potential negligence actions in carrying out duties on behalf of investment funds.
Advises two international investment managers on the quantification of damages and settling of the damages claim arising out of Ireland’s first ever civil action for insider dealing.
Advises London insurers on a complex multimillion reinsurance coverage issue.
Advises London insurers on coverage issues relating to a very significant fire damage claim.
Advises lead underwriters in relation to the Cessna Caravan air crash in Galway in 2007.
Advises lead underwriters in relation to multi-million fire damage to a number of helicopters in Galway in April 2006.
