PROFILE: Keith joined Dillon Eustace as a partner in 2008 having qualified in 1999. Keith specialises in giving commercial, company law and corporate governance advice to local and international clients. He has extensive knowledge experience of mergers and acquisitions, buy-outs, takeovers, competition issues and of the laws relating to intellectual property. Keith has advised some of Ireland’s top executives, entrepreneurs, public limited companies and trade associations on the issues that arise in industries as diverse as leisure, manufacturing, health, renewable energy, drinks, building, logistics, information technology and financial services.

Keith's knowledge of company law, its practices and procedures allows him to give in-depth advice to individuals, financial advisors, liquidators, board of directors, creditors and company members on the intricacies of bankruptcy and the law relating to insolvent companies. Keith also advises on the options available in company restructurings and amalgamations.

  • Advises Glassco Recycling in its strategic joint venture within partners in the recycling industry.
  • Advises US medical group Lake Region on the acquisition of Brivant, a leading manufacturer of medical devices in Galway.
  • Advises the management in the complex buy-out of the Irish online financial spread betting operation of Worldspreads Group Plc.
  • Advises in the acquisition of the Irish Sportspreads Betting operation from the Worldspreads Group
  • Representing start-up, web-based, network entity in separate rounds of financing, involving one of world’s largest IT companies.
  • Advises on the purchase of large Irish shipping, warehousing and stevedoring businesses.
  • Advises on merger of largest Irish trade associations in insurance and mortgage brokerage markets.
  • Advises large fitness and leisure group on joint venture with service providers.
  • Advises international leisure brand on exit from joint ventures and affiliations in Irish market.
  • Advises established authorised intermediary on regulatory and legislative aspects of establishing and protecting a web-based interactive portal.
  • Assisting in reverse takeover of a large Irish public relations and marketing business.
  • Advises on winding down and liquidation of significant Irish marketing business.
