PROFILE: Conor joined Dillon Eustace in 2006 and became a partner in 2007. He has acted on a wide range of banking transactions for both financial institutions and corporates, both domestic and foreign. Deal types have included secured and unsecured lending and borrowing, tax based financings, asset financing (including aircraft financing) and leasing. He has provided advice on banking regulatory issues to a variety of entities as well as advising state and private sector participants in public private partnerships. Conor has completed secondments to two leading banks and an internationally renowned aircraft leasing company.
REPRESENTATIVE ACTIONS:
- Advises a leading East European bank in a variety transactions including, the provision of a US$700 million secured bridging facility and a secured term loan facilities with a total value of US$450 million to Irish companies.
- Advises an Italian banking group in connection with a €2 billion acquisition finance facility.
- Advises a member of German banking group providing Stg£42 million secured credit facility to an Irish unit trust for the acquisition and redevelopment of commercial property in the U.K.
- Advises an Irish incorporated company established by an international asset management house which availed of Stg£27 million of secured credit facilities from a Dutch banking group in connection with the purchase of a portfolio of commercial property in Germany.
- Advises the Irish member of a Dutch banking group which provided a €20 million credit facility to an Eastern European affiliate.
- Advises a US bank which provided secured facilities to an Irish based group of technology companies.
- Advises on regulatory issues to an Irish licensed bank which is a member of a European financial group.
- Advises an aircraft leasing company in connection with the acquisition and financing of a number of aircraft.
