PROFILE: Brian trained at Dillon Eustace and re-joined the firm in 2006 from another Irish firm as a partner in the Financial Services Department. Brian advises leading domestic and international financial institutions and fund/asset managers on carrying on business in Ireland and in particular on the structuring, establishment and operation of all types of mutual funds including UCITS and hedge funds and investment business firms. Brian has also worked and advised on the acquisition and merger of regulated entities.

REPRESENTATIVE ACTIONS:

Advises on the establishment of a number of UCITS umbrella structures including climate change, fund of funds, index tracking and liquidity funds.
Advises UCITS funds which are sophisticated users of derivatives.
Advises on the establishment of a number of Non-UCITS qualifying investor funds
Advises on property related funds.
