PROFILE: John joined Dillon Eustace in 1992 and became a partner in 1997. John’s areas of practice include commercial dispute resolution across the entire range of sectors from financial services to manufacturing and applications under the Companies Acts affecting directors and employment law. John advises domestic and international clients on all aspects of employment law with a very practical emphasis in advising clients on tactical and strategic issues. In addition to the traditional area of litigation he has considerable experience in the area of alternative dispute resolution including Arbitration and commercial mediation.

John is Honorary Secretary of the Irish Commercial Mediation Association and is also Honorary Secretary of Arbitration Ireland

Advised an international bank regarding all employment issues on the merger of a financial services company with its existing business.
Advised international company on the employment law issues arising from the closure of its manufacturing company in Dublin.
Advised a company Director in the defence of a high profile application by the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement for a disqualification order under the Companies Acts.
Advised various companies on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions due diligence.
Advised international client in High Court injunction proceedings taken by a senior employee.
